At the beginning of the tour, you'll delve into the legend of El Dorado, the Spanish colonization, and the foundation of Bogotá. Then, we'll head to Plaza del Rosario, where you'll discover the informal emerald market in Colombia. As we walk along Carrera 7, you'll learn about El Bogotazo, an uprising that caused havoc in the city in 1948. Next, we'll visit Plaza de Bolívar, which houses important government buildings. After that, we'll stroll through the colonial neighborhood of La Candelaria, known for its historic architecture. Here, you'll taste a traditional beverage called Chicha, which dates back to pre-Columbian times, and learn about Colombia's urban art scene. Finally, we'll enjoy a fruit tasting at the end of the tour. Join us every day at 3:00 PM in front of the Gold Museum, where you'll spot our blue umbrellas.
